About Kivist Joinery
Based in Oxfordshire, Kivist Joinery designs and builds bespoke handmade and freestanding furniture for residential and commercial properties. Kivist Joinery works throughout the South East including Oxfordshire, Berkshire and London.
“My work reflects my Estonian heritage, it is minimalistic and pure. I grew up surrounded by artists and interior designers which led to me developing a love for sculpture and art. I now use all of these influences when designing bespoke, one-off pieces for my clients.
I carefully select every piece of wood for each project, ensuring they are of the highest quality, locally sourced (where possible) and sustainable. Using traditional craftsmanship combined with modern tooling and my own techniques, result in accuracy and high quality pieces, I interpret my client’s ideas to produce beautiful pieces that are innovative yet sympathetic to the spaces they are in. My work varies from built in wardrobes and dressing areas, to internal and external doors, windows and much more. To see some examples of my work, click here.
I pride myself on my relationships with my clients and the trust they place in me. As a client you will work directly with me as I design, build and finish your bespoke, one-off project.
If you would like to find out more about my work and how we could work together, why not get in touch.”

Our approach
As all of our work is made to measure, handmade and individualised, we work closely with you to design and make beautiful joinery and furniture to suit your property and requirements. We pride ourselves on being a company who can provide a personal service to each and every client, working together on ideas throughout the process to deliver work that is bespoke, handmade and high quality.
Initial meeting (free)
We will come to your property to talk through your project and the different options to make sure we fully understand what you are looking for. While we’re visiting your home we will also take any measurements we will need to help with the next phase.
Proposal and quote
Following the initial consultation, we will develop a proposal incorporating the final quote. Where appropriate this will include suggestions for finishes, materials and fixtures.
Final detailed design
Once the above proposal is approved we will draw up full designs for your approval. We will also require a deposit at this time to secure your place in our production schedule.
Build and installation
The majority of the joinery and woodworking will take place in our workshop in Oxfordshire. All our furniture and joinery is fitted by Kivist Joinery to ensure the finished result is of the highest standard.
Completion and invoicing
Once your project has been completed and any onsite adjustments have been made, we will invoice the remaining amount.
